How is it possible you asserted (mid April!) that the corona virus was no worse than common flu..? Because there is a straight line between people minimizing the climate crisis and the pandemic crisis, all united in their skepticism of the global scientific consensus.
How is it possible that the media’s portrayal of the impacts of climate change are so vastly removed from reality? Because simple, moderating factors are left out.

I think the more obvious answer is that the tax payers don’t run to pour money into the trough unless they are terrified not to. Or feel guilty not to. Climate change is just a tool to scare or guilt people into opening their wallets.

What is amiss is how the fight against climate change has come to cost a substantial proportion of the working class. Or, those less educated (i. e. blue collar). Access to economic opportunity. These have been shifted away. Toward the Eastern hemisphere via rules and regulations
