There's no way corona can be contained at this point, we're months past that. Until it doesn't overwhelm the hc system and everyone gets treatment that needs it, we're doing a good job. Lockdown for years is not feasible either till tested vaccine imo

It is the more practical least worse option. For countries such as Spain unless things like multigenerational households and continuing chronic shortage of PPE tests are addressed it means the price is much higher than people who see it as a black and white argument , admit.

To use Sweden as a bench mark is naive at best for the simple reason that their density of population per mile/sq is around 60, whereas in the UK it is 650. Obviously dencer population means viruses spread quicker. Bare in mind UK has Labour and lib dems who are both very DENSE.
