Since most deaths are amongst the retired, I consider that Linda Thunstrom's results are back to front. There really is no point in ascribing any value to someone's life once they have retired. It would have made far more sense to have allowed the virus to run as in Sweden.
Clarification: Sweden is not allowing 'the virus to run' — they have asked all 70+ to stay isolated, they are trying to isolate care facilities, people working from home, social distancing, hand washing. They just haven't locked down the entire economy
