I know that I won't be rushing to crowded settings such as restaurants, theatres, churches, public transport etc any time soon.

That would seem to be where we are now! How accurate was Imperial Colleges advice to the UK Government which contributed to the shutting down of huge parts of the economy and all the social consequences of that, including deaths!
