It’s depressing to see the international donors funding small and pious ‘sustainable’ electricity nets in poor African countries when there is such a need for massive large scale energy supply projects. Rich countries telling poor countries they can’t have what we have.

I’m sure the article will be pulled as it seems to question too many sacred cows of the green industrial complex. :)

Climate change (since end of LIA) has helped, not prevented, the expansion of population in Africa; living conditions in Africa are only getting better; if climate change is removed from the equation, solutions to Africa’s problems will be found easily (but it will take time).
