Every time I walk out of a store with an armfull because they have banned plastic bags I get upset. Canada does not dump plastic into the ocean. The virtue signalling is a huge hassle and does no good.

To tackle emissions (including pollution) we need waaayy more energy, virtually all of it electricity. Only known way to do that is by building 50,000 GW of nuclear. Everything else fails. Germany is physical proof.
