When climate campaigners urge people to change their everyday behavior, they trivialize the challenge of global warming. Some things that climate campaigners advocate would be great with or without CO2 issues...those are the ones that will most likely be successful in fighting the changes that have gone on historically and which require our continued improvement to infrastructure.

The word "demand" coupled with R&D expenditures can only mean someone expects the state to do the spending, which can only mean corrupt politically directed funding to well-connected players. Performance and actual value are unlikely to be considered.
