A case of "do-gooding" for people who has no professional competence or simply too lazy to seek gainful employment. Hence they opted for "feel good" profession of #NGOs and #NonProfits. And to perpetuate they have to keep "helping" aka smuggling illegals.

Idealism crashes head-on into reality proving yet again that good intentions require equally good policies.

It's not the saving of people from drowning that is the issue. Everyone should laud that. It's the way the rescuers then traffick them illegally into Europe (for which, btw, the traffickers are handsomely rewarded) instead of returning them to the port whence they sailed.
