Damages have gone down, I agree. How exactly does that mean that damages won’t go up? Seems like folly to me. Sea level rise alone will drive a huge increase. You can dispel untruths about the past without creating half-truths about the likely future.
Good luck with stopping sea level fluctuations by limiting some carbon emissions. Seas will continue to rise and fall every few thousand years regardless, like they always have. Yes, it's destructive.
