It could be termed biomass, but I'm not sure it's carbon neutral, as least not in the short term. Better to leave it sequestered in people's wallets.

Agreed . I think governments everywhere should issue bills to parents for these kids playing hooky from school. Cost of teacher and energy for each and every protestor. many places would be out of debt very fast

This is a well-written article. Please make sure you read it before commenting ( positive or negative). Summary- it agrees Climate Change is real and a huge issue, it states that innovation and improved policy - rather than hysteria- is the way to deal with it.

Some of the terms used are ambiguous. Renewable energy up 1 per cent - as a relative share of all energy I guess. NZ annual budget - is that government spending?
