Betting on just one thing is risky though. Nuclear and carbon capture are also needed. Google determined that green energy alone will not solve the problem, as it will not get cheap enough, quickly enough.
Instead of scaring voters, we should innovate down the price of the green energy; when it becomes cheaper than coal and oil, everyone will switch. #climatechange #globalwarming

It will happen naturally when green energy is cheap and scalable. They do not wish to make it cheaper now. There is a large portion of greed at work here, not just ideology.
