Unprecedented fires in Russia and enough melting in Greenland in one month to measurably raise sea levels. Trend lines are for more of this and at an accelerating rate, but yeah, let's not get alarmed. How about rising ocean acidity. You have some Pollyanna views on that, too?
2100 impacts with a discount rate of 4.4% per year! So you're lets do nothing because the 2100 impact is less than ~3000% of the impact of doing something now? The kids should most definitely be scared silly if we're justifying our actions based on analysis like that!
It's your analysis that makes no sense. Why should people living today impoverish themselves so that the much richer people living in 2100 can be even richer still?
