Tests have proven time and time again that vegans produce more intestinal gas than those with a diet that includes meat. Vegans could be the cause of global warming with their flatulence. Perhaps legislation to reduce vegans to a maximum of 1 per million and we save the globe?

1/2 It’s an interesting take with some important nods to the importance of lowering the barrier for folks, but... I am very concerned about this kind of framing because it’s unclear when and if cultured meat will be able to achieve price parity with conventional meat.

2/2 Given this genuine uncertainty (despite what some “boosters” claim), it’s my view we shouldn’t undercut efforts to reduce consumption of animal products. Additionally, overconsumption of animal products - whether conventional or cultured - isn’t ideal for health. - Brian
