No meat eaters equals no animals under care Generally, animals in the wild suffer far more than domesticated ones Freezing Starving Disease Dying slowly if crippled Being eaten alive by predators If relief of suffering is the intent, should we get rid of all animals altogether?

well researched numerous papers show children raised on vegetarian diets have lower IQ. Methane, in steady state herds(which most are) have zero emissions as methane has a half-life of 6 years Facts matter!

Your editorial says being vegan vs vegetarian does impact the environment positively, so why isn't your headline: go vegan for more environmental impact ???
#vegan Also, what some guilty people experience as shame, is just the presentation of facts.Kiitos. Käytämme tätä aikajanasi parantamiseen. KumoaKumoa

Where'd you get the three times less meat of the Swedes vs US ? A quick search tells me that in 2009 it was about 15% less : http://chartsbin.com/view/12730

looks pretty spurious to me. Witness: "vegetarians save $750 on their food. That extra spending will cause more CO2 emissions, cancelling about half the saved CO2 they save." And any study needs to include the positive impact of changed land use, through re-wilding meat farms

Positive impact of rewilding meat farms? Talk about cognitive bias. One should not spread own ignorance.
