Correct. Society is lying to itself no matter what one thinks of the impact Carbon has on the world. We have made virtue signaling too beneficial to its actors.

That’s why environmentalists choose to lobby governments and policymakers, who “fight” climate change with other people’s money (that is, through taxation and public spending), and even so, claim credit for their holier-than-thou-ness.

Voters in Australia backed politicians who throw millions of fossil fuel donated money at elections, and you are using their voting patterns to back up your arguments? Are you a man of science or just want attention by playing Dr Evil?
