What about paper bags?I hate plastic cause they blow around and some of are cows ate them. They died. I was really surprised by this info about plastuc bags over cotton bags.

Thing is that the so-called multi-use plastic bags contain much more plastic than the old, light bags & still don't add much to the cost of shipping. So when I leave my bags in the car I just buy the "lifetime bag" & then treat it as I would one of the old light bags

I won’t disputes your point but is there an additional weighting for impact to wildlife/ecosystem? Plastic seems much more “transmit-able” than cotton.
