My concern is that the BBC is trusted by many to filter out bullshit and here they haven't. I can indeed and have and will continue to challenge it when I see it but I'm many orders of magnitude less read and trusted than the BBC.

Putting aside the rights and wrongs of policy costing methodologies... What value do you put on the maintenance of the conditions for a civilised society? Is it more or less than £1trn or £12trn?

Climate change does not mean an end to the "conditions for a civilised society." Median estimate of cost of 2-4C of warming is about 2.5% of GDP in 2100. And GDP in 2100 will be much higher than it is today, even under pessimistic assumptions of economic growth.

Could you point me to your tweets where you have shared data, opinions or events that don't support your theory that climate change isn't all that costly and not worthy of alarm? I've been back about 100 and can't find anything but those that support your theory.

There are no data or "events" that support climate alarmism. There is, however, a huge industry of ignorant, irrational "journalists," pundits and activists promoting that myth. Try reading the actual scientific literature cited by Lomborg.
