In @EconTalker’s great interview w/@BjornLomborg, did he really mean to propose that policy-makers should help promote human dignity? Or does he agree that Warren, Sanders et al should worry about their own dignity (a big job!) & let me worry about mine? http://www.econtalk.org/
I believe the conversation on human dignity was in relation to sanitation — it should simply be counted in the benefit-cost analysis that one of the benefits of sanitation is dignity for women

Right, Bjorn--& I don't think that Russ really meant to suggest that policy-makers should CONSCIOUSLY promote human dignity when promoting policies. In your toilet example, you might have added that Bill McKibben could still argue it's more dignified to do it in the woods!
