No. Everybody knows warming can cause glaciers to speed up and increase (consults notes) in length, even while thinning and losing density/mass due to evaporation induced snowfall and meltwater lubrication.

Graphics of northern hemisphere glacier melt from the 1800s on used to feature prominently on climate data sites. Now it is hard to find anything that starts before 1950. Melt was much faster before 1950 than it is now.

I don't remember the site, probably NSIDC, had northern hemisphere glacier ice extent and volume (mass?) estimate graphs about a decade or more ago, I think on their main page. The decline at the beginning of the 20th century was striking. Implies massive forcing.
