A smug article that ends up saying that we need to stop sensationalizing and start "increasing investment in green R&D to innovate down the future cost of green energy below that of fossil fuels" which is exactly what everyone else is saying.
No, most people are arguing to spend, say, 90-99% of resources on deployment of current, inefficient solar and wind, whereas they will in passing agree to fund a bit of R&D. I'm pointing out that R&D should be front and center.
