Here is one good example, but they crop up everywherehttps://twitter.com/dwallacewells/status/1135541932128690176 …

Why has climate alarmism allowed us to forget an actual sense of which problems matter most in the world? If we really care for Indians — not just using them for political points — focus on moderate cold, which everywhere kills many more people In India 13x more, world 17xpic.twitter.com/bmKXdmMdZa

Of course, if you know Lomborg, you know he’s leaving important information out. In the present case he’s omitting to tell you India was in the 'moderate cold' range 80.6% of the time, while it was in the extremely hot range 2.3% of the time. 1/2

The moderate cold range, by the way, was above 57 F, and below a ‘model specific' variable temperature that ranged between 77 F and 91 F. So the contention is that death at 90 F is sometimes classified as a ‘cold related death’.

The study in your link puts extreme heat 34.2-39.7 C. Much of India was over 45C today. Although that temp is not common, it's outside the range of the study categories Notice the large spike in odds ratio towards 40+ C from the same study. There's a reason for health concerns.pic.twitter.com/l8XtgbcU6p

In fact, the paper he’s citing omitted data above 40 C (104 F)

Aren’t there much more cold related deaths then heat related deaths than even shown here? Especially when you factor in traffic accidents caused by snow? Aren’t crop yields also stronger with higher global average temperature, reducing food price and starvation?
-
each degree-Celsius increase in global mean temperature would, on average, reduce global yields of wheat by 6.0%, rice by 3.2%, maize by 7.4%, and soybean by 3.1%. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5584412/ …

Yes, he is saying that. Yes, it is idiotic, and nothing in the work he cites is saying that. I have great reservations about the methods in this paper in anyway, but they never said the someone who died at 90 F was killed by the cold. He did.
