Turns out it does. $270 billion per annum (1995 values). Worldwide, with a good chunk of it to be spend in Asia. As a point of comparison, Bangladesh GDP in 1995 was $38 billion. It's higher now, but presumably so is cost. Do you have up to date figures, at a per country level?
