True... it's even more dire. When unreliable sources account for a bigger share in the total, they get even more uneconomical.
We often hear that wind and solar #energy are cheaper than #fossilfuels, but at best that is only true when the wind is blowing or the sun is shining.

Well, you made a good point. No research no breakthroughs. The problem is that fossil - coal ( and oil etc ) are too cheap because heavily subsidized: cheap airplane tickets etc.... This money should be spend on research and implementation..pic.twitter.com/TKjBsi6y2i
