Old fashioned wood is fine. Locally sourced, excess branches, etc. With high efficiency wood stoves it’s about 70% efficient. New fashioned wood like USA to Drax is ~0% efficient, likely worse.

With local sources, if supply dries up people just use propane. With government/EU directed biomass, the planet is not safe.
