I think I heard tsunamis being among indicators used by climate alarmists. It never occured to me it wasn't climate related!

Media coverage of climate change is generally appallingly inaccurate and inflammatory, full of rhetoric of catastrophe and focus on worst-case scenarios. Little wonder that "climate anxiety" is so widespread.

IPCC report will say something like: "There is medium confidence of an increase in average storm intensity." Slate/Vox/HuffPo etc will report this with headline like: "Grim Climate Report Predicts Deadly Megastorms" They're not trying to inform; they're trying to induce fear.
