Just out of interest. If I read this properly, highlighting extreme weather plays a role in convincing people that climate change is a reality and that humans are primarily responsible. You seem to object to this. Why?
There's no evidence that this flooding is attributable to human-induced climate change.
It was a 2018 survey, not 2019. The poll only presented seven options so it's also inaccurate to say 'more ... than anything else'. You're confusing the events themselves with social interpretation of the events, Please distinguish between alarming and 'alarmist' (inaccurate).
