For some people global warming may not be that bad. For others it is a clear existential threat. Some people will get much richer in the coming years. Others will not. There are no "average people." Focusing only on average deflects from injustice.

Actually, on all paths, inequality will be vastly lower than the 20th century, and most likely much, much lower. So, almost everyone will get much, much richer (on fossil fuels, average OECD person will see incomes x5, average non-OECD x23!)pic.twitter.com/9sSGw2LFUO

You're still using within country averages though, right? So this assumes an equitable distribution at the nation state level. You're more optimistic than me about that political economic transition happening.
