Bjørn.... that chart just show man has improved our ability to survive whatever calamity throws in our general direction. You could just as well have shown a chart with the the correlations between more roads are paved with tarmac and the number of deaths from mudslides

Um...what do you think is responsible for this dramatic drop in climate-related deaths? It's not that extreme weather events have decreased. It's that our ability to anticipate/respond to them and save lives has improved.

I would think weather forecasting has improved quite a bit since the 20’s also.
