Great. Those of us living in NW Europe and the 48 States MIGHT see a modest improvement. All whilst low lying and low latitude regions become uninhabitable. Did you think of consulting the latter before deciding that for them?

Looking at the data, Bjorn, it seems that 50% of the votes came from two countries, Mexico and Nigeria, and even those totals are a fraction of the populations of these two nations. How is this poll dispositive of what the people of this planet want?

Agreed. But polls do tend to work that way in general. In fact, loads of theories are put out as "proven" on the basis of a survey of 40 college students.

Carbon output is only going to grow with China & India, along with most of the Third World, growing economically as they are. Like it or not, that's the truth. Best we invest in fusion and clean nuclear plants (possible in concept) & mitigating any adverse effects.
