.@jordanbpeterson I just listened to your discussion w @BjornLomborg the “skeptical environmentalist.” Very flawed logic. Costs imposed by climate change are systemic+permanent (we pay them every year for rest of history). And no discussion of value of biodiversity or ecosystems.

Thanks for your response. That’s an interesting point, though I think it assumes you understand more about the future and economic growth than in reality you do. Could you please direct me to where I can find your complete methodology?

(copied from my wall) 1/2 So
@BjornLomborg do you actually believe you can accurately predict economic growth 100 years into the future? I'm all for modeling -- it's useful. But given tech, social and political discontinuities, I think you put too much stock in your assumptions.Kiitos. Käytämme tätä aikajanasi parantamiseen. KumoaKumoa

2/2 Also,
@BjornLomborg could you share methodology for valuing a stable climate, healthy ecosystems and biodiversity? It always seems like your discussions leave out the "point of no return" problem. Once we break certain climactic systems, we can't fix them. Same 4 extinctionsKiitos. Käytämme tätä aikajanasi parantamiseen. KumoaKumoa

This is critical because wealth growth is exponential and the eradication of poverty is the single most important policy tool to tackle climate change.
