Interesting: The picture you get from MSM is otherwize that the trend is the opposite: Wealth is being focused to fewer and fewer people. Is the data you show here typical for western nations or does the UK stick out in this respect?

Should remember though many villages and towns ruled by one estate that employed everyone in village - the low level workers had nice houses that cost half a million today , yet they didn't have any 'wealth', but a steady comfortable lifestyle
