‘Might be good for nature’... how do you pick the target temperature that you want to control to? And why is that temperature better than any other? How can you define the optimum temperature?

The optimum temperature is whatever the actual temp is not! They can't make it too close or too far away from the actual temperature because it will not sufficiently scare people enough to throw their money into a burning pit of shit.
