It's equally a result of lack of meaningful fact based counter narrative. Instead we have the deep polarization of *that* and whatever you're peddling. You can't fight delusions with more delusions. Imagine the power of using your influence and footprint from the middle/center.

Especially since supposedly official science is not always true science. At the IPCC there is a lot of researcher in social sciences and sustainable development. Scientists supposed to revise reports are also often economists, sociologists, and so on.
