Massive decrease in climate-related deaths upto mid-1970s was fueled by fossil fuel. It makes us more mobile, productive, able to build protective structures more quickly. Yet media tell me that climate change from burning fossil fuel will kill X people in the next 50 years.
Global Human society is better organised now to prevent such deaths. So this is misleading
