All UN countries signed on to the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Article 26 “Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages…” Maybe more counties should read and abide by the Universal Declaration.
Analysis for Andhra Pradesh, and for Rajasthan, shows that investment in expanding early childhood education access and improving quality would transform lives in India for many years to come.
