Last month, I announced that eight healthcare providers in GA-02 will be awarded a total of $2,168,196 through the American Rescue Plan to improve access to COVID-19 vaccines. Increasing vaccination rates is key to reducing illness and keeping our communities safe.

Earlier this month, I supported the Water Resources Development Act to reauthorize and increase environmental projects to support research efforts, flood mitigation, and environmental infrastructure.
I'm honored to receive the 2022 Congressional Leadership Award from the Friends of the Congressional Jobs Corps Caucus. I will continue advocating for this program which provides critical support to young people & their careers.

Last month, I announced $2,173,928 in funding for the Valley Health System to build and expand health care centers in Middle Georgia. These funds will help rural and underserved communities have better, more accessible health care.

I joined ’s Under Secretary Xochitl Torres Small to announce a $36.5 million award to expand high-speed internet in Middle Georgia. All communities — no matter the zip code — should have access to affordable, high-speed internet.
