They knew it was a taser, one of the cops yelled "he took my taser" as the man was running away another cop fired and executed the suspect. Don't make excuses for murder.
In Georgia we know the officers stun gun was taken. How could anyone know when he turned to fire it was not the stun gun. Not an excuse but an observation.
