    Your bad habits aren't just miraculously going to go away without any work. Show up every day and put in the work. You need to make a conscious effort to avoid your destructive ways. - Don't open the porn site - Don't pick up the beer bottle - Don't go down the chocolate isle

    Can't agree with this more. If I don't have a productive outlet for my energy, things go south real quick. Restless, agitated, and ultimately depressed. The energy is going to go somewhere - you choose whether that is a positive or negative.

  7. You can continue to scroll and react to the drama & negativity online. You can allow it to effect your thoughts and penetrate your mind. Or you can stop being so emotionally reactive to what essentially is nonsense, in the grand scheme of things, and protect your mental health.

  8. You're a ball of energy. Start channelling it into something worthwhile, or it'll more than likely dissipate, or go into something destructive. Don't destroy your energy because of a lack of direction, or procrastination, but rather harness it for awesomeness. Go conquer.

    Yes. One of my favourite questions for my clients when evaluating the value of any action: "How is doing that working out for you?"

  10. If Twitter, or any other social media platform, is taking more from you than it's giving, Cut down your use, or quit. The same can be said for all substances, digital or not. If they're compromising your mental health then it's not worth it. Protect your mental wellbeing.

    Powerbuilding combines powerlifting & bodybuilding. I prefer this approach because it breaks my workouts up: The “fun” is the heavy lifts. I get to test myself with these every week. The “work” is the isolation lifts. The results of these are seen outside the gym. 💪

    A little backstory for my new followers. 2012 to 2014 I was homeless. During that time my wife was pregnant and we had 8 kids. We were all crammed into 1 room. I worked a day labor job breaking concrete with a sledgehammer for 56 bucks a day (take home)...
