Watch out when a similar anomaly happens in the UK (and it will).
For comparison 2020 was the wettest February on record and parts of the UK saw 3-400% of normal rainfall. Flooding was severe.

Auckland has now recorded:
Over 769% of their January monthly normal rainfall
Over 38% of their entire ANNUAL rainfall
Auckland is currently challenging the record for their wettest month ever. With more rain today & tomorrow, this formidable record may also be toppled.

Rather alarming program about the door management of clubs and venues, the Brixton Academy as the focus - hopefully they get their licence back before the London date - looking forward to it.

Very pleased to be the owner of a cast iron frying pan, made from melted down K6 Phone boxes. Based on a pattern from 1759, and possibly the only cast iron cookware being made in the UK. Cast by Andrew Laing at foundry Lochgelly

So reggae greats Black Uhuru have cancelled their UK tour after not getting visas from the Home Office, which also this year refused entry to elders and peace messengers The Abyssinians (for which I had a ticket). The hostile environment continues. #windrush
