I'm unlikely to ever be monetised on Yt but I still care about how they treat everyone else in this regard and I don't feel Yt offers enough to demand exclusivity which might not be what's happening but is what what they shared sounds like & their lack of response or explanation

To people like you enquiring about the state of their channel or asking questions is also a bad way to treat their creators. All platforms have flaws (I'm on multiple and I acknowledge this) but the way YouTube treats their creators is very problematic.
