My latest: The homeless man arrested on suspicion of killing a 94-year-old Glen Park resident was well-known to police. He’d threatened numerous neighbors with bodily harm, and yet the city did little other than keep offering services he kept refusing.https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/heatherknight/article/The-suspect-in-the-murder-of-an-elderly-SF-man-15298412.php?t=d9823eaf1e …

Peter Rocha, the man arrested in the slaying, was on
@RafaelMandelman’s list of the most disturbed people in his district. I wrote about the list in February. Back then it had 17 people. Now it has 22. Hardly anyone gets helped enough to get off the list.https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/heatherknight/article/The-Castro-s-shame-addiction-and-mental-15037018.php …9 replies 13 retweets 43 likesShow this thread -
Heather Knight Retweeted Fred Sharples
Sad recollections from a Glen Park neighbor. https://twitter.com/fredsharples/status/1265785126148923392?s=21 …https://twitter.com/fredsharples/status/1265785126148923392 …
Heather Knight added,
Fred Sharples @fredsharplesReplying to @hknightsfThis really hurts. I didn't know him but I saw Leo almost every day in and around Glen Canyon. He was always smiling and always dressed in old world clothes. Unfortunately I also saw Peter many times too. He growled at my kids in the park and scared the hell out of them.3 replies 3 retweets 22 likesShow this thread -

Replying to @hknightsf @chesaboudin
Well it's good to know what moves Chesa to be a proper DA - somebody has to die.
