I really don't understand why anyone would do this. I guess if you really want to announce your racism its an effective technique but if you do it for the laughs, maybe you need some new friends.

I'm actually more surprised he's not refusing to resign and scolding all of us for being too sensitive. Seems to be the direction the GOP is headed.

Upon his resignation, DeSantis said it was a shame and that he had done a lot of good work. Nothing about what he did and how deeply offensive it was.

These are the types of racist dirtbags that permeate Republican politics from the city, county and state level all the way up to the federal government. Just disgusting and disgraceful. And if you think DeSantis’ “monkey it up” comment wasn’t racist, you’re an idiot.
