I’m not a virus denier. I know multiple people who have had it. I’m also of the opinion that the lethality is highly over-rated and the greater danger is from fools who are ignorantly happy over egregious violations of the Bill of Rights.
The Bill of Rights does not say, “The right of the people to spread contagion in defiance of public health mandates shall not be infringed.” Anyone who refuses to wear a mask during a deadly pandemic — especially one spreading as rapidly as currently in Texas — is a real fool.
You know, any time someone has to start out with a disclaimer like "I'm not a virus denier," it's a near certainty that the person is exactly what he's denying he is.
In this case you are wrong, factually.
In March & April, NYC had 4X as many deaths--an additional 24,000 people--as they would normally see in that period. A 30 yr old hospitalized for this has the same mortality probability as a 75 year old hospitalized for an MI. But please, tell us about overrated lethality.
Also, you couldn't be more wrong about your rights being violated. https://www.lawfareblog.com/quarantine-power-primer-light-coronavirus-situation …
