The erasure of sex as a protected class is a direct threat to the material reality of women. Women have the right to politically self define and organize to fight sex based oppression. If you can't see sex, you can't see sexism. Women still lack reproductive freedom.

Please bear in mind that the LGB ask nothing but acceptance. Trans rights should be about freedom from discrimination & abuse but demands are being made that identity allow access to sex (or sexuality) distinct services, safe places, private spaces, sports, grants positions, etc
