This is what Conservative politicians do. It’s what Doug Ford did in Ontario. Conservatives say they’re for the people during the election, then they cut taxes for the wealthy and cut services for everybody else.

Looking into the camera, Justin Trudeau said during a televised leaders’ debate on the economy in 2015: “I am looking straight at Canadians and being honest the way I always have. We’ve said we are committed to balanced budgets and we are. We will balance that budget in 2019.”
