(44) Mr President freeing Julian Assange and pardoning Edward Snowden would send a message to the world that you value truth and honesty. You certainly haven't got that from all the swamp creatures around you. Gov has real problems they don't want to face; so, don't protect them.

Assange isn't a whistleblower. He's a foreign, multi-award winning journalist/publisher who gave a platform to whistleblowers for the public interest. The 1st amendment specifically states the people have a right to free speech/press. The arrest of Assange is completely illegal.
