When we voted again to cap the price of insulin at $35 for millions of Americans, 94% of republicans (193-of-205) voted no. Mcconnell republicans are blocking this too.

I wish Democrats would be forthright when describing the bill.
It would only cap the *insurance co-pay* at $35 p/mo. People who can't access/afford health insurance, as usual, are left out and left behind.
Don't mislead people! It makes people lose trust and increases cynicism.

My daughter's co-pay for insulin is $270. Add cartridges, syringes, pen needles for cartridges (quickpen), test strips, lancets, alcohol swabs, keetone test strips, an emergency kit with glycogon. Plus $108 copay for monthly shot. Add $40 for thyroid meds and high blood pressure.
