why would i? i’m not going to invalidate someone else’s human experience because it makes me uncomfortable. someone’s gender identity doesn’t affect me at all, so why am i going to make an issue with it?

why yield to the outré whims of a scant few other people? I will always find the desire to erase gender in the Spanish language absolutely ridiculous.

no one is asking to erase the gender terms. they’re only asking that the term for the way someone identifies (which is a pretty big thing) isn’t gendered so they can be more comfortable.
