Fact is that this criminal was not following police instructions. Hard to imagine that he had good intentions walking away from police with his background. Difficult for police to make split second decisions that everyone has time of hindsight to judge.

@BillOReilly. My take is that the knife was on Blake's person, and he was fleeing to the car to drop the knife so he wouldn't be arrested with it while he was out on bail. Check the tapes, sir. It appears to be in his hand as he runs. - Show replies
