I truly believe that middle American voices get silenced when the opposing party is in power. Blame exhaustive media and elite politicians. Middle American voices = low ratings.

I don't believe the polling. For example, polling says 88-90% of voters are in favor of universal background checks, but when it's been put up for a vote in state elections support is closer to 50%.
